Ten journeys to a place where nothing happens tries to avoid too much performing. The biggest challenge for the makers of the performance, Juha Valkeapää and Taito Hoffrén, is to do nothing. Simply to be. In this they sometimes succeed, sometimes not.
The performance takes place in a tent. Next to the tent stands a car, a ’74 MB 508D camper. The car acts as transport vehicle, kitchen, toilet, side stage, dressing room and warehouse. In summer it’s a bedroom too.
The performance’s spine is the constantly updating diary. Reading of it is accompanied by pancakes and coffee, that are served during the whole performance. Plus music, video clips and small acts.
